Beautiful purple color with purple rim. Intense and complex, the nose is dominated by fresh fruit aromas (blackcurrant, black cherry) mixed with fine woody notes. When shaken, a minty, fresh side develops, accompanied by a small hint of licorice. The attack is open and round. On the palate it is fat and serious, with a dense and velvety tannin structure, accompanied by a balanced natural acidity that gives this wine a beautiful freshness.

Chateau Clarke 2003 goes perfectly with grilled meat or meat in sauce such as lamb, poultry or game. It goes particularly well with a veal chop with porcini mushrooms from our mountains.
